This study aimed to identify the impact of internal corporate governance mechanisms on financial performance.

To achieve this objective, the study was applied to a sample of 25 companies listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018 The study found that there is a positive moral effect of the internal governance mechanisms represented in: (the activity and independence of the board of directors, the activity and size of the audit committee, the activity and the independence of the nominations committee) on the financial performance represented in the return on shareholders' rights, We also recorded a significant inverse relationship between The size of the board and the performance of shareholder rights.
