The same is expected to occur to the individual who wears complete denture, they :; vary from person to person with regard to their satisfaction.

It has been suggested that patients psychological make up play a role on satisfaction with complete 11% Venture.

The aim of the study is to test the role of psychoneurotic status of the patient on the satisfaction with complete denture wearing.

Crown and Crisp Experiential Index | (CCEI) was used to assess the psychoconerotric status of 146 Iraqi complete denture wearers.

Only 115 complete denture wearers, 73 females and 42 males, I responded correctly and completely to the questionnaire, Psychoneurotic profile of the sample indicated that the highest mean score was on | ^ the scale of obsession, followed by that on depression, and fairly dissatisfied j;M patients scored significantly higher on anxiety and phobic scale (P,0.05).

It can be concluded that edentulous status and wearing complete denture affect on J J psychoneurotic status of the patient and satisfaction with complete denture is affected by psychoneurotic status of the patients
