This study aims to modify the design of the educational environment to apply active learning strategies in elementary grades in public schools in Jeddah.

The researcher has used the descriptive analytical method.

The study reached a set of results, namely: the ability to modify the design of the educational environment in elementary grades of public schools, despite the different types of the school buildings (government-built and repurposed) to suit the application of active learning strategies through rearranging and organizing the environment to benefit from all its spaces in a way that helps the female teacher create an organized and rich environment that enables her to choose active learning strategies that are suitable for the female students and takes into account all their needs.

The study gives a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: the necessity of reorganizing the educational environment in order to apply active learning strategies to suit the number of female students and the area of the educational environment; In addition to reviewing the active learning strategies used with female students in the early grades, as it is an extension of early childhood, and needs special strategies appropriate to the developmental stage of the female students.
