This study aims to determine the motive of the residential choice in the peri-urban sites in Constantine, moreover it demonstrate the consequences of this choice in terms of inhabitants’ satisfaction within the living conditions in this region.

in order achieve this goal ; a structured questionnaire was conducted and distributed to sample of 1164 individual.

the finding of the present paper highlight that the ost significant motives are those related to socio-spatial reasons.

in addition to this, the results show that almost 60% of peri-urban dwellers are satisfied by their residential choice since correspond perfectly to their aspirations.

الملخص FRE

Cette étude vise à déterminer les motivations du choix résidentiel au milieu périurbain de Constantine, et les conséquences de ce choix en matière de satisfaction des habitants vis-à-vis à leurs conditions de vie dans cette localisation.

afin d’atteindre cet objectif, un questionnaire a été réalisé et distribué à un échantillon de 1164 personnes.

les résultats de cette étude montrent que les critères liés aux motifs socio-spatiaux viennent en tête des motivations.

en plus de cela, presque 60% des périurbains sont satisfaits de leurs conditions de vie qui correspondent parfaitement à leurs aspirations.
