الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aimed to identify the extent of applying strategic analysis using (S O A R) model, and to identify the level of strategic capacity building in Jordanian telecom companies.

Then to test the effect of strategic analysis using the (S O A R) model in building strategic capabilities in Jordanian telecom companies.

The descriptive analytical method was adopted as a methodology for the study, and the questionnaire was adopted as a tool for the study.

The study population included workers in Jordanian telecommunications companies in the capital city of Jordan –Amman-, the sample of the study included 150 male and female employees.

The results showed that, the effect of diminishing strategic analysis using the (S O A R) model (strengths, opportunities, aspiriations, and results) is positive in building technical knowledge to build value in Jordanian telecom companies.

The results also showed that the impact of the four dimensions of strategic analysis using the SOAR model (strengths, opportunities, aspiriations, and results) in building capacity to generate and own resources is positive.

The study made several recommendations like the necessity of maintaining a high level of application of the organization's environment analysis strategies such as SOAR and other odels, and maintaining a high level of strategic capacity building in the organizations.
