This study aims to Examine the effect management information systems in the decision-making process in the five-star hotels in the Aqaba Economic Zone.

The study emphasis the concept of and importance of management information systems in decision making process.

This study uses descriptive analytical approach through a questionnaire developed to collect the required data to be statically analyized.

The study sample included (242) respondents from employees work for five-star tourist hotels in Aqaba Economic Zone.

The study provides several important results includes that the degree of the availability of management information systems elements are moderate as perceived managers and their assistants and heads of departments.

In addition, the degree of decision-making process on which managers and their assistants and heads of departments depends on management information is moderate.

Moreover, results indicate that there is a significant impact of al dimensions of management information systems (data, devices and equipment, communications, users, procedures, information security) on decision-making in five-star tourist hotels in the Aqaba Economic Zone.

The study recommends need to pay more attention and invest in management information systems components to contribute effectively in providing data sources for decisions making that contributes to the development of hotel business.
