Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and be the one after whom there is no prophet, Having said that: This research is entitled (The Letters of Imam Ibn al-Majishoon (Died: 164 A.H.) in proving the deQiny; an analytical doctrinal Study that aims to clarify the scholarly position of Ibn al-Majishoon, may Allah have mercy on him, and the methodology he followed.

And the shte- ment of his belief in destiny, and the response to those who denied it.

My methodology in this research is: The Inductive Analytical Approach.

One of the most prominent results of the research that I reached was that Ibn al-Majishoon is considered one of the flags of the Maliki School of thought, i n addition to the fact that the most prominent scholars of the predeæessors benefited from it in their nar- rations, just as Ibn al-Majishoon had a scientific method in which he did not deviate from the approach of the Imams of the Salaf, in addition to the mention of Ibn al-Majishcwn mentioned in his two treatises doctrinal connotations related to destiny, such as the neces- sity of in fate, the permissibility of invoking fate in the event of calamity, the inability to invoke it in the case of disobedience, and the reminder of consent and submission to the Cause of Allah, as he mentioned - may Allah have mercy upon him - the ranks of desti- ny, and warned against controversy about deQiny.

Among the most important recommendations that the researcher sees is: The need to highlight the belief of the scholars of the (Salat), may Allah have mercy them, by Studying what came to the leaders of the predecessors (Salat) of the doctrinal efforts in the second and third centuries A.H., and others.

The research recommended Study- ing the efforts of Ibn al-Majishoon in determining the doctrine and responding to those who violated it, in addition to studying the rest of the d(k'trinal letters that came from him, such as his letter to prove the attributes of Allah Almighty, and his other letters in the prohibi- tion of controversy.
