Folk heritage represents the cultural identity of the nation, and it is the product of a continuous cultural and intellectual accumulation that goes back to long experiences, and its preservation is considered a consolidation of the personal identity that distinguishes us from the peoples of the world, and Arab societies are among the societies that enjoy a specific cultural identity that made it throughout many decades of time and during many different events It preserves its privacy and unity, and Algeria is also one of the countries that preserves its components and identity, which are guaranteed by the constitution from the Arabic language, various local dialects, religion, customs, local heritage (material and moral) and a common history, But there are fears of the impact of globalization through modern media, communication, multimedia and information technology, the specifics of its audience, so this analytical article came as a reading of the dialectic of heritage and local cultural identity with the aim of preserving it from dissolving in the midst of the culture of globalization through the contents of Algeria's various local radio programs of different ethnic origins.

For its listeners, our study dealt with a sample of four different geographical regions (Ain Defla, Batna, Bouira, Adrar, Skikda) that contributed to resisting the Western cultural invasion and educating the recipient about the danger of alienation from the mother culture and the incursion into the stereotypical culture advocated by globalization.
