الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aimed to identify the Development of writings, decorations and figures on the coins of the first century AH, the period from the first year of the prophet's migration, peace be upon him, until the end of the reign of Caliph Omar bin Abdul Aziz.

This study dealt with coins from an analytical point of view by mentioning the writings, decorations, Figures and political and religious symbols, where the researcher explained and clarified the writings, decorations and forms that appeared on the coins of the first century A.H.

and introduced the meanings of the words received.

This study was broken down into four main chapters as follows : Chapter 1: relates to the theoretical framework of the study, which includes the introduction, the importance of the study, the study problem, the study objectives, the study limits, the methodology of study and previous studies.

Chapter II : talks about The Sassanid Arabic coins in the first century AH and describe them and explain the evolution of the writings, decorations and Figures on them.

Chapter 3 : The researcher spoke about The Byzantine-style of Arabic coins with their description and clarification in a scientifically accurate manner.

Chapter 4 : This Chapter, talked about pure Arab-Islamic coins, where we began during the reign of Caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan until the end of the rule of Caliph Omar bin Abdulaziz.
