This research paper objectively addresses the term “woman” as it is mentioned in the Noble Quran.

It deals with its linguistic significations, the Quran’s methods of referring to it, the context in which it is mentioned, and the benefits of commitment to this term in the Noble Book.

The study also sets a comparison between the petitions sought by World conference on Women and women’s rights as stated in the Noble Quran, which demonstrates that Islam wholly guarantees women’s rights and praises the endeavors of the international community in sustaining them.

The findings of the comparison reveal a large degree of compatibility between the petitions of the World conference and the Noble Quran in terms of women’s rights and their confirmation in the Noble text.

All these rights revolve around: gender equality, women’s rights in the family when it comes to procreation, custody, inheritance, ownership, and ending the violence against women.
