The aim of this research is to give sight to know how far students of biology have the awareness against of epidemic risks.

the study includes students of biology departments for the academic year 2020 / 2021 from the three universities of (Qadisiyah-Karbala-Kufa) and all of them are in the middle Euphrates of Iraq.

in order to achieve the required objectives of the research, the researchers have used the descriptive method through which a research sample of (260) male and female students have been chosen randomly.

for the sake of achieving the ultimate objectives of the research, the researchers have prepared the scale of the awareness against of epidemics risks, which consists of (52) items in its final form.

and after the exploratory application, the validity and stability of the test were verified.

also, the values of discrimination and difficulty coefficients were calculated for the test items.

at the same time, the researchers have calculated the correlation of the item's degree to the field as well as the calculation of the effectiveness of concealments.

the researchers applied the search tool to the students in the form of google forms, and the statistical analysis and processing of the data was carried out, and the t-test equation for one sample as well as the Pearson correlation coefficient equation and regression analysis equation.

the results of the research showed that the students of biology departments have a high level of the awareness of the risks of epidemics.

in light of the results, the researchers strongly recommended to pay more attention to spreading the awareness of the risks of epidemics among the students of the departments of biology in all their academic levels, and to suggest conducting a similar study to show to which extent teachers of biology possess this kind of awareness.
