The current study aims to identify: (perseverance among middle school students), and the study population consists of middle school students in Salah al-Din Governorate: Tikrit district - the area of science and from both sexes (males, females) and specialization (scientific, humanitarian) for the academic year 2020-2021 The sample of the study included (300) male and female students distributed over (21) schools of scientific and humanitarian specializations.

In light of the results of the current research, the researcher recommends the following: Develop guiding plans for preparatory students with the aim of building their personalities and enhancing their perseverance through indirect group counseling that seeks to familiarize the individual with his potential and capabilities and encourage him to achieve himself.

In light of this, the researcher suggests the following: Doing a study of perseverance and its relationship to various other psychological variables, such as its relationship to (academic procrastination, life satisfaction).
