This research came to shed light on the reality of education in Iraq, in light of the exceptional circumstances imposed by the epidemiological situation as a result of the outbreak of the new corona virus, which necessitated taking decisions by the ministry of health and a set of measures that fall within the application of quarantine, and one of the most important decisions was to suspend teaching at all stages.

the decisions taken by the ministry of health, represented by the crisis cell, have become the prevailing application to all joints of the country.

distance education has become the new system in order to spread safety and reduce the spread of the epidemic.

through the inclusion of platforms on official websites and various communication programs and accessed via the internet by students and professors alike, so this research came to add something new through the use of the art education lesson in limiting and preventing this virus, which has become a threat to the lives of the majority of people, so exploiting he studied art education in order to raise awareness and spread the dangers of this virus and how to prevent it through art, using distance learning for students and applying health prevention methods.

as the research consisted of four chapters, the first chapter came to form the research methodology that consisted of (the research problem, the importance of the research, the research objective, the limits of the research, and the definition of terms), the second chapter dealt with the theoretical framework and it consisted of four sections, the first topic was (the impact of education in light of the corona pandemic), the second topic dealt with (a brief overview of the emerging corona virus (covid-19)), and the third topic came to show (art education), and the fourth topic dealt with (using the art education lesson to increase students’ health awareness against the corona pandemic) then came the third chapter, which consisted of (the analytical framework of the study), and followed by the fourth chapter to bring us the results, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions that addressed the research problem.
