The influence of big data analytics on hotel performance efficiency in Egyptian hotels

Using Big Data Analytics (BDA) in organizations has the potential to improve innovation, accuracy, and efficiency.

Therefore, this research will focus on exploring the influence of big data analytics on hotel performance efficiency in Egyptian hotels.

This Research developed all measurements using scales suggested by previous authors.

The current research utilized the quantitative approach.

A five-point Likert scale was used to test the attitude of the participators toward research variables.

Participators shared in this survey are hotel' employees in hotel chains and five-star hotels in the governorates of Luxor, Aswan, the Red Sea, and Sharm El-Sheikh city, and they number 397 employees.

Data collected were analyzed using SPSS (23) statistical tool.

The research found that, hotels need to validate the data collected before analyzing it, using BDA has the potential to improve innovation, accuracy in hotels, using BDA helps to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of hotel employees and hotel performance.

On the other hand, some of the challenges that hotels face in using BDA: the high cost of using BDA applications, the difficulty of data security, and the difficulty of storing data.
