The aim of this research is to identify the teaching of the curriculum and methods of teaching life sciences for third year students with the cognitive acceleration model and its effect on mental processes and complex thinking With one experimental group) equivalent, and according to this design, the research sample (third-year students) was chosen by the intentional method, as the number of students in the Department of Life Sciences, College of Education for Pure Sciences (85) students, divided between two divisions, Division B was chosen Randomly to represent the experimental group, which consisted of (38) male and female students who studied according to the cognitive acceleration model.

As for the control group students represented by Division (A), it consisted of (37) stude studied according to the usual teaching method.

The researcher also prepared a test to classify mental processes and And the complex thinking test and after applying the experiment that was conducted in the first semester of the academic year (2018-2019) and after the experimental procedures and applying the tests prepared to achieve the research goal, the researcher reached some results, recommendations and proposals that serve the teaching process .
