This study was conducted at the University of Babylon, College of Basic Education, and it aimed to know the level of students of the Department of Arabic Language in the College of Basic Education in literary interaction, and the study sample included (163) male and female students, and the research tool was a test in literary interaction, the researchers used the Pearson correlation coefficient And the arithmetic mean, the coefficient of difficulty and ease, and the t-test of one sample as statistical means, and after testing the hypothesis that was developed, the researchers reached conclusions, including: the weak level of students in literary interaction, and the students ’inability to interrogate literary texts.

Literary interaction according to its foundations, and for the teaching staff to develop a deep understanding and literary taste in them, and to complete the research, the researchers proposed a set of proposals.
