الملخص الإنجليزي

The study aims to determine the level of psychological rigidity and show the relationship between psychological rigidity and emotional stability For the Palestinian Red Crescent Society volunteers according the variable of study (gender – duration of volunteering).

The sample of the study is 192 volunteers with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, who volunteer at Emergency medical services sector.

The results of the study show the level of psychological rigidity is high by 76.64 % but the level of emotional stability is 72.34%, for study sample, also there was a statistically significant correlation between the level of psychological rigidity and the level of emotional stability in the study sample.

Female and volunteers in the center of Gaza City, showed statistically significant differences in the results of psychological rigidity by gender variable and Volunteering center.

There are no statistically significant differences in the emotional equilibrium level due to a variable (gender –volunteering center - educational qualification and duration of volunteering)
