The BCG Matrix is a matrix that helps to manage the strategic portfolio of the company by making effective strategic decisions and determining its DAS.
Our research aims to determine the position of different DASs of tourist arrivals to Algeria according to the growth of market segments and their relative market shares, determination of priority action areas.
Applying the BCG model to Algerian tourist arrivals by region allows us to see that a portfolio characterized by two stars (Africa/Asia) presents a dilemma (Europe) and dead weights (Americas).
الملخص FRE
La BCG matrix est une matrice qui aide à gérer le portefeuille stratégique de la société en prenant des décisions stratégiques efficaces en déterminant ses DAS.
Notre étude a comme objectif: le positionnement des différents DAS des arrivées touristiques en Algérie en fonction de la croissance de leur segment du marché et de leur part de marché relative, détermination des axes d'actions prioritaires.
L'application du modèle BCG sur les arrivées touristiques en Algérie par zone nous a permis de percevoir que le portefeuille est caractérisé par deux vedettes (Afrique/Asie) un dilemme (Europe) et un poids morts(Amérique).
