Fighting terrorism through liberalism promotion in the Middle East

The aim of this work is to shed light on the roots of the widespread of the liberal thought in the middle east through the focus on the role of the external factor.

this lies in the global war on terrorism led by the united states of America and its allies, based on the link between liberalism promotion and fighting extremism.

this paper concluded that liberalism promotion conducted by many tools such as public diplomacy and cultural exchanges has not been in harmony with the characteristics of the region that has its own vision about the internal and foreign policies.
