This article attempts to model the failure of SME through an expert system in order to analyze and understand whether several determinants, perceived as key factors, are contributing to the bankruptcy of these enterprises.

our study is based on a sample of 84 corporate equally divided between healthy and failing SME.

the objective is to put in place a proactive strategy aimed at immunizing companies against risk of default.

to do so, we conducting an administered survey among the managers of SME in business and in default of payment.

this research is based on a quantitative approach to data collection and analysis.

الملخص FRE

Le présent article tente d’établir un emodélisation de la défaillance des pme par le biais d’un système expert en vue d’analyser et de comprendre si plusieurs déterminants, perçus comme des facteurs clés, contribuent à entraîner ces entreprises vers la faillite.

notre étude porte sur un échantillon de 84 pme réparties à part égale entre saines et défaillantes.

l’objectif recherché est de mettre en place une stratégie proactive visant l’immunisation des entreprises contre de risque de défaut.

pour se faire, nous avons procédé à la réalisation d’une enquête administrée auprès des dirigeants de pme en activité et en cessation de paiement.

cette recherche est basée sur une approche quantitative traitant les données récoltées et analysées.
