The study aimed to identify the impact of human resources auditing on achieving organizational effectiveness for Jordanian information technology companies registered with the intaj association.

the study community consists of (a general manager, director, deputy director and head of department.

data were collected by using the randomly sample method by distributing the questionnaire on all the items of the sample unit, numbering 540 whereas the number of recovered and valid for analysis questionnaires reached (520), which constitutes a response rate (94%) of the distributed questionnaires.

simple and multiple linear regression analysis was used, in addition to arithmetic means and standard deviations.

the results showed that auditing human resources in all its dimensions (policy auditing, practices auditing procedures auditing, files and documents reviews) have a statistically significant impact on achieving organizational effectiveness in all its dimensions (achieving goals, growth, adaptation, employee satisfaction).

based upon the results reached, the study recommends of the necessity for Jordanian information technology companies to adopt the concept of auditing in human resources, which will achieve the organizational effectiveness, and the need for decision-makers to adopt the auditing as a source of information to help them in making decisions.
