الملخص EN

The current research dealt with the study of modernist features in the contemporary Omani composition of the period (2000 - 2014) for the first time of business and secondly for the maturity of experiments interested in the features of modernity.

The current research contained four chapters, which included the first chapter on the methodological framework of research, And its importance and need, through the objective of the research tagged (detecting the features of modernity in the formation of modern Oman) to identify some terms.

While the second chapter included the theoretical framework of the research, which contained two topics, one of which came under the title: Culture of the modern era spirit of culture (methods and trends), which shed light on the trends and trends of contemporary art in Europe ..

While the second section entitled: (The beginnings and routes of Bakri) and is a history of the movement of plastic Oman.

While the third chapter contains the research procedures, which included the research community of about (200) art work as well as the sample analysis of (4) models only .

Finally, the fourth chapter is represented by the findings and conclusions and the most important results: 1) The contemporary Omani modus operandi was adopted on the mechanisms of westernization and renewal in the suggestion of plastic scenes in painting, sculpture and porcelain to move away from the icon levels.

2) The Omani artist's interest in the modernities of modern technology, which is filled with the production of questions that accept interpretation at every reading moment, contribute to the simulation of the essence, which gives a technical process to the proposed new forms, which produces a dialectical relationship between what is visible and what is invisible.

While it contains some of the most important conclusions: (We find that the experiences of the artist in the early Omani was within the limits of the narrative and the direction of realistic and natural and impressionist style celebrated with the beauty of the place).

The chapter concluded with the proposals, the most important of which is the study: (Technical diversity in contemporary Omani sculpture).
