The current research aims to identify:- 1.

Emotional innovation among students of the College of Basic Education.

2.

The significance of the statistical differences in emotional innovation among the students of the College of Basic Education according to the variables of gender (male - female) and specialization (scientific - human).

3.

The direction and strength of the relationship between emotional innovation and the trend towards modernity among students of the College of Basic Education.

4.

The trend towards modernity among the students of the College of Basic Education.

5.

The significance of the statistical differences in the trend towards modernity among the students of the College of Basic Education according to the variables of gender (male - female) and specialization (scientific - human).

After conducting a statistical analysis of the research data that was applied to a sample of (400) male and female students from the College of Basic Education, the research reached the following results.

There is a weak relationship between emotional innovation and the trend towards modernity In addition to the research sample enjoying a good level of emotional innovation and orientation towards modernity, the results also indicated that there are differences between the sexes in emotional innovation in favor of females and emotional innovation, as well as there are differences in emotional innovation and in favor of human disciplines, as well as differences in orientation towards modernity and in favor of females.

Also, there are no differences between the humanities and scientific disciplines in the trend towards modernity.
