This study deals with the history of the ancient kingdoms of Yemen, which are kingdoms with economic systems related to international trade, and have affected them far and wide.

The paper begins with a short overview of the country of Yemen in terms of geographical location, and the reasons for the name.

Then the paper also dealt with the kingdoms of the ancient country of Yemen in the period (1300 BC - 525 AD), which included the kingdom of Mu›in, Hadramout, Qataban, Sheba, Awsan, and Himyar.

The importance of this paper stems from the fact that it clarifies the role of the ancient kingdoms of Yemen in formulating the historical events that drew the civilized image of Yemen before Islam.

Therefore, the paper aims to shed light on those ancient Yemeni kingdoms.

The study follows the historical, descriptive, and analytical method to reach the purpose of this study and achieve the desired results.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is that knowing the history of the ancient kingdoms of Yemen helps us understand the present of the Yemeni human being and how he reached what he is.

The study reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which is to encourage research and studies in the field of archaeological techniques for all ancient civilizations of Yemen and to identify their pros and cons.
