Globe luxation is not very common.

It usually occurs as a result of high-energy trauma.

Most of the cases are usually traumatic, although spontaneous globe luxation has also been reported.

The majority of post-traumatic cases are usually associated with the injury or fracture of the bony orbit.

We present a case of traumatic anterior globe avulsion in a patient with floppy eyelid syndrome and normal orbital depth after trauma to the back of the head.
