تحليل محتوى كتاب الرياضيات المدرسي للصف السابع الأساسي في الأردن في ضوء معايير (2015-TIMSS)‎

The study aimed to analysis the content of mathematics textbook of seventh grade in Jordan in the light of the standards of (TIMSS-2015).

An instrument for the study was prepared by the researchers, for the purpose of analyzing the content of the mathematics textbook.

It contained two main dimensions: the content dimension and the cognitive dimension, and its validity and reliability were verified.

The results of the study showed with regarding to the standards of content dimension, that the standard of numbers got first place (%43.78), second place was the standard of geometry (%31.34) , third place was the standard of algebra (%16.17), and the last was the standard of data and chance (%8.71).With regarding to the standards of cognitive dimension , the standard of knowing got first place (%54,75), second place was the standard of applying (%34.96), and the last was the standard of reasoning (%10.29).
