The current research aims to identify the prevailing Enneagram personality patterns within the Instinct centre according to the gender variable (males and females) for the students of the Special Education Department.

To achieve these goals, the short image of the personality patterns scale was adopted The Enneagram which prepared by (Riso-Hudson, 1995), translated by (Al-Yassery, 2004), rationing by (Al-Sultany, 2007).

The psychometric properties were verified on the current research sample.

The research was applied randomly on a number of the Department of Special Education students, whose number is (120) male and female students.

The data was analyzing statistically by using the t-test for one sample, and the t-test for two independent samples.

The results showed the predominance of the peacemaker personality type among the personality types of the students of the Department of Special Education.

There is also a difference in the dominant personality type (the peacemaker) in favor of males.

In order to complete the desired benefit from the results and conclusions of the current research and its conclusions, the researchers come up with a number of recommendations, including: (Working on developing and reinforcing the other of personality types among students, in addition to the prevailing peace maker personality type for them, as they are university students and need to reinforce such patterns in them).

As well as the researchers suggested a number of further study projects which are including: Conducting a longitudinal or cross-sectional study to track the growth of personality types according to the theory of Enneagram among individuals since childhood to advanced stages of life.
