The results of studies on the determinants of poverty were always a guide for policy makers.

indeed, for the reorientation of social programs, decision-makers are called upon to determine the factors that hinder the population from getting out of poverty.

our study aims to identify the determinants of poverty in morocco.

to do this, we used data from the ONDH panel survey for 2019.

for our study, the determinants of poverty in morocco are, the age of the head of household, his gender, his educational level, his professional status.

, its place of residence, the size of the household and its economic dependency rate, the level of equipment of the household and its environment.

الملخص FRE

Les résultats des études sur les déterminants de la pauvreté étaient toujours un moyen d’orientation pour les décideurs politiques.

en effet, pour la réorientation des programmes sociaux, les décideurs sont appelé à déterminer les facteurs qui entravent la population de sortir de la situation de pauvreté.

notre étude a pour objectif de cerner les déterminants de la pauvreté au maroc.

pour ce faire, nous avons utilisé les données de l’enquête panel de l’ondh pour 2019.

pour notre étude, les déterminants de la pauvreté au maroc sont, l’âge du chef de ménage, son sexe, son niveau de formation, son statut professionnel, son milieu de résidence, la taille du ménage et son taux de dépendance économique, le niveau d’équipement du ménage et de son environnement.
