This study aimed to identify the mediating role of organizational civilization in the relationship between occupational safety and health and reduce risks in the National Petroleum Company (Sudapt).

The majors refer to work accidents and injuries, some of them fatal, and some resulting in permanent total or partial disability that leads to the disruption of all or parts of the energies of the injured individuals, in addition to the material damage to property, materials and machines, as they represent losses for the establishments, which reduces the increase in their annual income, and the study problem focused On the role of organizational civilization as a mediating variable in the relationship between achieving occupational safety and health and reducing risks.

This study hypothesized that organizational civilization mediates the relationship between occupational safety and health and risk reduction.

This study used the descriptive analytical method.

The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The organizational civilization mediates the entire relationship between achieving occupational safety and health and reducing risks, and there is a statistically significant correlation between occupational safety and health and reducing risks in the presence of organizational civilization.

The study made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: The senior management should pay attention to organizational civilization, which will reflect positively on reducing risks through the dissemination of a culture of occupational safety and health, with the need for employees to abide by the regulations and rules of occupational safety and health management.
