This research aim to know the effect of the Text lnterrogation strategy on reading comprehension of second-grade intermediate students .

the researcher followed the procedures of the experimental method formed in two groups (experimental and other control) .the first group studied using Text lnterrogation strategy, and control group studied the traditional method.

The sample is (60) students of which (30) students are in each groups .the researcher studied the two research groups on her own and relied on teaching subject assigned for the first semester ,which are (6) topics from the Arabic language book to be taught to students of the second intermediate grade for the academic year (2021-2022) in Iraq .the researcher prepared an achievement test consisting of (25) items applied to the tow research groups which reached the superiority of the experimental group over the control group on how to use them in the teaching of reading material and texts.

In addition to the study the researcher assumed that some studies should be carried out (conducing a study similar to this study on other study classes such as fourth and fifth preparatory classes ) or other study subjects .
