The aim of the current research is to identify: 1: Positive thinking among parents of cancer-fighting children.

2: Emotional Security among parents of children battling cancer patients.

3: Statistically significant differences in positive thinking according to gender variables (father - mother) among parents of children who are fighting cancer patients.

4: Statistically significant differences in emotional Security according to gender variables (father - mother) among parents of cancer-fighting children.

5: The relationship between positive thinking and emotional Security.

In order to achieve these goals, the researchers built a scale of positive thinking, and the number of its paragraphs was (22), and the scale of emotional reassurance was built, and the number of its paragraphs was (25).

(100) fathers and mothers, and they were selected in a simple random sampling method from the Cancer Center in Karbala, and after processing the data statistically using a single-sample t-test and two-sample t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient.

The research reached the following results: 1: Parents of cancer-fighting children enjoy positive thinking.

2: The parents of cancer-fighting children enjoy emotional Security.

3: There are differences between fathers and mothers and in favor of fathers in positive thinking.

4: There are differences between fathers and mothers and in favor of fathers in emotional Security.

5: There is a relationship between positive thinking and emotional Security.

After extracting the results, the researchers presented a set of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
