De nos jours, les études sur la question du fragment se multiplient.

La présente étude souhaiterait dégager un nouvel axe d'une pensée littéraire qui contribue à la compréhension de cette pratique d'écriture dans le roman Body Writing Vie et mort de Karim Fatimi (1968-2014) de Mustapha Benfodil.

Pour ce faire, le présent travail s'interroge sur le recours au fragment comme une pratique d'écriture.

Afin d'arriver à une réponse, il sera question d'analyser le roman selon deux approches: linguistique et thématique.

La méthode que nous avons adoptée se réfère principalement aux études culturalistes d'Edouard Glissant et Homi Baba afin de retracer les aspects de l'identité rhizomatique dans le roman.

Nowadays, studies are multiplying on the question of the fragment.

The present study will try to identify a new axis of literary that contributes the understanding of this writing practice in the novel Body Writing Life and Death by Karim Fatimi (1968-2014) by Mustapha Benfodil.

To do this, this work ask for the use of the fragment as a writing practice.

In order to get an answer, the study will analyze the novel according to two approaches: linguistic and thematic.

The method we have adopted mainly refers to the culturalist studies of EdouardGlissant and Homi Baba in order to trace the aspects of rhizomatic presented in the novel.
