The study aimed to identify the nature of young people's understanding of the fourth generation wars and their effects in spreading rumors and stirring up sedition and unrest in society, the social factors that nourish them, the extent to which young people are affected by them, especially university youth, and their repercussions on social security, the role of the university in facing the fourth generation wars, and ways to address what The study was conducted through a questionnaire on students of the faculties of engineering and nursing as an example for the practical faculties, and the Faculty of Education and Arts as an example for the theoretical faculties at Kafr-Elsheikh University for a sample of 379 male and female students from the four faculties, and the study reached a number of results, including intellectual convergence The students of both theoretical and practical colleges, and from rural and urban areas, in general, there was no significant impact of the demographic characteristics of the study sample on their understanding of the nature of fourth generation
