This research has revealed a number of results, the most important of which is the existence of many common terms for the expression of virtual currencies, such as electronic currencies, cryptocurrencies and digital currencies.

The research has concluded with the selection of the term "virtual" and "unofficial" digital currencies to illustrate this issue.

The research confirms that the increasing prevalence of the use of virtual currencies affects the capacities of States to control the amount of money in circulation and weakens the role of central banks in the management of monetary policy.

The research recommends collective international cooperation to establish rules to protect users of these virtual and informal digital coins.

It also recommends that States should pay attention to the tax adjustment of virtual digital currencies in view of the diversified revenue that could increase the State's revenue.

The research also recommends that countries' central banks should study all assumptions - from the increase or decrease in people's dealings with virtual digital currencies - and develop solutions to all assumptions, including the issuance of an official digital currency, so that the unintended consequences do not occur.
