This research reports on a study on new Algerian textbooks.
it sets itself the objective of an analysis of the cultural representation that one makes of the teaching of the target language in a formal environment.
our corpus is composed of school textbooks and the program intended for teaching of French at the secondary level.
we are particularly interseted in the modalities of pedagogical intervention and this through a study of themes addressed in the three manuals in order to draw conclusion about the cultural aspect in terms of communicative effectiveness

La présente recherche rend compte d'une étude portée sur les nouveaux manuels scolaires algériens.
Elle se fixe pour objectif une analyse des représentations culturelles que l'on fait de l'enseignement de la langue cible dans un milieu formel.
Notre corpus est constitué des manuels scolaires et du programme destinés à l'enseignement du français au secondaire.
Nous nous intéressons en particulier aux modalités d'interventions pédagogiques et ce à travers une étude des thèmes abordés dans les trois manuels pour en tirer des conclusions quant à l'aspect culturel en terme d'efficacité communicative.
