الملخص EN

The article is an attempt to highlight the specific traits of Omani feminine fiction in the context of Arab literature.

The genre appeared as an ideologically mature endeavor that reflects the Omani society in its transition towards modernity and the entailing effects of such change on Omani people.

The paper analyses two novels: Alashyae Laysat Fi Amakiniha (Things are not in their Places) by Huda Hamad and Sayidat Al-qamar (Celestial Bodies) by Jokha Al-Harthi in reference to key concepts introduced in the field of sociology of literature particularly genetic structuralism.

The reflection of Omani society is guided by a transformation through the two writers' feminine subjectivity that provides world views in fiction which aims at breaking silence.
