Innovation initiative of Egyptian E-government system using big data

The electronic government system in Egypt faces great challenges during its current phase of development and implementation.

these challenges are due to the emergence of new technologies and applications in the field of government electronic services.

new technologies such as near-field communications NFC, smart cities, and green information technology for preserving the environment have contributed to new principles and procedures for the e-government system in Egypt.

this research aims at developing an initiative for the Egyptian government system through developing an integrated and systematic plan for defining priorities of engaging above-mentioned modern technologies to be applied in the next phase of development and implementation.

the government body responsible for this work is the ministry of administrative development.
