This study discusses the theoretical and conceptual frameworks of global health diplomacy and its relevance to the field of international relations.

It seeks to formulate a theoretical understanding about global health diplomacy and to build a conceptual framework concerned with integrating health into foreign policy by defining the scope of global health within the value system of the foreign policies of countries and international actors.

The study addresses health crises that pose real challenges to international relations as a focal point in the competition for global influence.

It discusses the obvious obstacles to more intertwined cooperation between public health and international relations.

The study raises the importance of looking at the global health situation as an inevitable factor within the field of global and national politics and seek to strengthen its position within the policy determinants of countries.

The study is to fill the gap in the Arab literature in this field of research and to contribute to the initiation of a critical dialogue about the ethical and moral conflicts inherent in this concept.

This would benefit Arab decision-makers by shedding light on governmental and international organizations' strategies that aim at strengthening global health diplomacy in the current international system.
