Universities are among the most prominent institutions of higher education that contribute to achieving progress and prosperity through developing society in its various fields.

The successful university administration is the one that enjoys scientific and administrative leaders in the management of the faculties, and the successful university leadership is the one who is able to achieve the goals of the university with the least effort and in the easiest way.

From this, the crisis is a measure of knowing the ability of the dean to manage the existing conditions, just as the reality of university administration in Iraq is governed by general and other considerations, It would work to create conditions that negatively affect the effectiveness and adequacy of university administration, due to the lack of some university leaders to fully familiarize themselves with the foundations of planning, organization, supervision and administrative evaluation, which led to weakening the efficiency of university administration, which prompted the researcher to conduct a research on the level of crisis management among heads of the faculties of the University of Tikrit.

The research objectives are as follows : 1- The level of crisis management among the heads of departments at the University of Tikrit 2- The level of crisis management among the heads of departments at the University of Tikrit and according to the position (head of the scientific department, head of the humanitarian department).

The researcher reached the following results 1- The high level of crisis management among the heads of scientific departments at the University of Tikrit.

2- There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members according to the specialization variable.

Suggestions : 1_ Conducting a study similar to the current research on other samples and comparing its results with the results of the current research 2 Conducting a correlational study between crisis management and other variables of thinking.....etc.
