الملخص EN

The aim of the current research is to identify the most appropriate type of visual cues of interactive video (external / internal) of cloud computing based environment and their relationship to the level of attention and its impact on developing levels of deep understanding and meta-memory for students of the preparatory pupils, and to achieve the objectives of the research two treatments were designed, One of them dealt with the type of visual cues outside the object displayed in the interactive video by providing cues with diagrams and with arrows, and the other dealt with internal visual cues that are placed on the object displayed in the video by providing cues with color and by highlighting.

The experimental treatment consisted of (5) interactive videos and content delivery through” yammer” one of Microsoft office application, The research sample consisted of (145) students from the first year of middle school, and the research tools included an attention scale to classify the research sample according to the level of attention (high / low), a deep understanding test, a measure of meta memory, and the sample was divided into four groups.

Equal experimental, and the results showed a sign of the interaction effect between the two types of hints and the level of attention E for the deep understanding test, while the results proved that there was no indication of the effect of the interaction between the two types of cues and the level of attention with respect to the meta-memory indicators scale and the superiority of the third group ( internal cues / high attention) in the post application of all research tools.

The research presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the interest in providing the two types of external and internal cues in interactive video and the importance of observing the design criteria for both types in line with the requirements of achieving deep understanding skills and meta-memory
