الملخص العربي

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل أدوات الربط النحوية المستخدمة في الترجمة الإنجليزية إلى عشر سرديات من المجموعة القصصية شهداؤنا قصص".

كما وتهدف إلى التأكد من مدى دقة استخدام المترجمين الفلسطينيين للترابط النحوي في ترجمة هذه السرديات.

وتتحقق هذه الدراسة من الأدوات الأكثر تكرارا والأقل تكرارا في السرديات، وتحاول أيضا تقييم الترابط النحوي في ترجمة السرديات وفقا لنظرية الترابط لهاليدي وحسن ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم اتباع المنهج الوصفي التحليلي.

أما في الإطار النظري، فقد تم شرح نظرية الترابط لهاليدي وحسن (1976) بالتفصيل مع الأمثلة.

وفي الجزء التحليلي تم تحليل أدوات الربط المستخدمة في السرديات العشر وإظهار مدى تكرار أدوات الربط النحوية المستخدمة في هذه السرديات.

كما وتم تحليلها إحصائيا وتقييمها سواء كانت متنوعة ودقيقة أم لا.

وأظهرت النتائج أن استخدام أدوات الربط النحوية غاية في الأهمية الإبقاء النص ذا معنى ومترابطا، وأن المترجم قد استخدم الأنواع الأربعة من الترابط النحوي في السرديات المراجع الإشارية، والاستبدال والحذف وأدوات الربط كما وأظهرت النتائج أن تكرار أدوات الترابط النحوي في السرديات العشر قد بلغت 2.577.

وأن أدوات الربط الإشارية النحوية هي الأكثر تكرارا في السرديات حيث بلغت 1.880، بينما كانت أدوات الربط الاستبدالي هي الأقل تكرارا في السرديات حيث ظهرت 11 مرة فقط ختاما، إن استخدام المزيد من أدوات الحذف والاستبدال يمكن أن تجعل السرد أكثر إيجازا ودقة، وأن استخدام أدوات ربط أكثر تنوعا وزخما يمكن أن يضفي للسرد منطقية وترابطا أكبر بناء على نتائج هذه الدراسة، فقد تم تقديم عدد من التوصيات للقيام بمزيد من الأبحاث في الاختصاص نفسه.

الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aims at analyzing grammatical cohesion in the English translation of ten selected narratives from Our Martyrs Are Stories and investigating the accuracy of the Palestinian translators’ usage of grammatical cohesion in the translation of these narratives.

Besides, this study examines the most and the least frequent cohesion type applied in the narratives, and it tries to assess grammatical cohesion in the translation of the selected narratives pursuant to Halliday and Hassan’s cohesion theory.

To realize the objectives of the study, a descriptive-analytical approach was followed.

In the descriptive method, the cohesion theory by Halliday and Hasan (1976) was explained in detail with examples.

Also, in the analytical one, the text-cohesion of the ten selected narratives were analyzed to show the frequency of the grammatical cohesion devices applied in the narratives.

The cohesive devices used by the Palestinian translator were analyzed statistically and assessed whether varied and accurate or not.

The results showed that using cohesive devices is significant to keep narratives meaningful and coherent, and the translator applied the four types of grammatical cohesion in the narratives: reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction.

It also showed that the total number of cohesive devices in the narratives is 2.577 ties.

Reference is the most frequent type employed in the narratives, with 1.880 ties, while substitution is the lowest frequent one at 11 ties.

To sum up, the use of more ellipsis and substitution can make the narratives more concise and precise, and to use variate and more conjunction items can make the narratives more coherent and logical.

Based on the findings a number of recommendations were presented for further relevant research areas in the due field.
