In this paper, a new extension distribution with four parameters named Kumaraswamy weighted exponential has been introduced based on the family of Kumaraswamy generalized distribution.

the new density function can be expressed as an infinite linear combination of weighted exponential densities.

some of the mathematical properties, special cases along with the maximum likelihood estimations of the parameters of new distribution have been discussed.
