This paper sheds light on the policies for transitioning to a green economy in Algeria, the gains it achieves, and the challenges it faces, by addressing the measures taken and that must be taken to transition across the various greening sectors, and shedding light on the projects completed in Algeria as gains for the transition process.

while examining the magnitude of the challenges and the extent to which the transition path is affected by them, the paper therefore aims to know the nature of Algerian performance with regard to the gradual abandonment of the brown economy in favor of the green economy, in light of the current achievements and projects and the available capabilities, as well as the various challenges facing the transition process.
