Some properties of centralizing in a unital complex banach algebra

In this paper we show that, for a closed ideal J of a until complex Banat algebra A, if a is a quasi-centralizing element of J and b belongs to J, then ab and ba are linearly dependent if and only if ab = ba.

Also we get generalizations of some of Renneson's results.
