الملخص EN

Political performance influences economic and social development within states in different parts of the world.

Thus, African countries experience a variety of crises in development processes.

This study analyses the link between political behaviour and problems of economic development in Africa.

It attempts to explain how political conflicts are incompatible with different aspects of human development.

African problems of development create a negative image in the international system.

Our study demonstrates that Africa is not wholly responsible for the vices associated with political behaviour.

Efforts are being exerted to overcome development constraints.

The logical conclusion is that policy priorities should be geared towards positive peace and political stability
