The purpose of this study was to estimate the reliability and validity of the translated short version of the Conners Teacher or Parent Rating Scale.
Parents and Teachers were requested to rate 128 schoolchildren on the 10-item scale and to rate their School achievements.
Item Reliability/Analysis revealed high scale reliability for both forms, but the validity of the scale was found to be low.
The findings confirm previous reports that the scale should only be used as just one part of the total assessment of the child.
الملخص FRE
Le but de cette etude etait d’estimer la fiabilite et la validite de la version simplified de l’echelle devaluation de Conners, traduite (en arabe).
Les Parents et les Instituteurs ont ete demandes d’evaluer 128 eleves sur l’echelle a 10 items et d’evaluer leur accomplissement scolaire L’item Fiabilite/Analyse revela une fiabilite d’echelle elevee pour les deux formes, mais la validite de l’echelle a ete trouvec basse.
Les resultats confirment les rapports precedents que l’echelle doit etre intilisee seulement comme une partie de revaluation totale de l’enfant.
