This research applies to the semiotic method on the dialogue analysis of one act play "the pride and the butterfly hunter" by nessim alony.

It discusses the speech acts theory – because of the strong relationship that combines between it and the semiotic analysis of dramatic dialogue – and also shows all its contents, with applying study on full dialogue examples.

The research managed to discover to some important results which was mentioned at the end of the research.
