Angiomyolipoma of the adrenal gland : a case report

Adrenal angiomyolipoma is rare.

Only four cases have been reported so far.

We report our experience with a 61-year old man who presented with loin pain and abdominal mass.

A computerized tomography (CT) scan showed an adrenal mass with features of angiomyolipoma.

Adrenalectomy was performed and the histopathologically features confirmed the diagnosis of adrenal angiomyolipoma.

The patient recovered without any complications following surgery.
