Estimation of sudanese aggregate import by error correction methods

This research aimed to give sufficient evidence that the estimation of aggregate import of the Sudan by error correction methods gives better results for non-stationary data compared to the conventional ones by providing immunity against the risk of spurious regression and estimate the short and long-run as well as the speed of adjustment.

The research found that estimation of the short run and long run by error correction gives further details and help in formulating effective policies.

Finally the demand function for imports is stable.
