The study revealed a well-built first line innate immunity system in Bufo Spp., the skin extracts illustrated a very active antibiotic attitude which inhibited the growth of human pathogenic bacteria species, Escherichia coli (ATCC 19615), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213) and Streptococcus pyogenes (ATCC 25922).
